“Choora” are beaten rice. They can be eaten in variety of ways. They can be served with a coat of creamy curd and sugar or jaggery. This is a popular dish during “Makarsakranti”. They are also served as snacks by frying lightly with peas and onions. In Bihar “Choora” is often used as a substitute for rice in lunch.
