OUR HISTORY
The past glory of Bihar envisages beautiful sculptures, temples, mosques, fort, intangible assets and many more. Bihar does not just have more than 500 monuments like forts, mosques, temples etc, which are more than 100-2000 years old, but we also have a glorious history that should be known to everybody. Bodhgaya, Nalanda, Vaishali and Mithila Paintings is all that comes to mind when spoken of Bihar, but there are more than 100 other such historical places that exist in our state that have a great importance in the foundation of our State. Chanan Ka kila, Shershah Suri ka Maqbara, Gandhi Ji's work place, Mosque of Single domb, Chankya's Fort, Samudra Manthan, Manjusa Art, different kind of performing arts and many others symbolise our rich history. A variety more than 300 different exquisite dishes exhibit the beauty of our custom and traditions. Hence, it is our mandate to show the world, the legacy of our Virasat.
